ABSTRACT – Reflections on Faith between Science and Theology. The paper investigates
the relation between theology, philosophy and science. The reflection follows the notion
of realism and stresses the role of faith as the starting point of theological reflection. As to
the realism the essay considers three entities: God, world and man, and three relations
between them which are revelation, creation and redemption in the Franz Rosenzweig’s
way presented in his The Star of Redemption. As to the faith the paper accepts Pierre
Rousselot’s vision of it. The act of faith, in his prospective, is as a blink of an eye which
opens new vision of the world.
